Calling all little ones that love to make-believe and dress up! Take a break from the real world and step into our magical winter fairy glen for your own storybook portrait adventure.

Let your children immerse themselves in an experience that will surely make the long cold winter FUN! It's an opportunity to dress up and have a fairy godmother apply some makeup and put some curls in before venturing into a magically icy scene filled with critters to meet, snowflakes to catch and stories to tell.

Portrait sessions are available for a $50 donation per child that will be forwarded to a children's charity organization.

What comes with your Winter Fairy Portrait Session? 

  • 30 Minute Portrait Session: A unique interactive portrait experience where your child will get to immerse herself in a fairy world (valued at $200).
  • ​A visit with our Fairy Godmother to apply some light makeup and prep your fairy's hair for portraits (valued at $100).
  • ​​Selection and use of our gorgeous custom gowns and icy winter fairy crowns curated specifically for this scene.
  • ​Personalized Ordering Session: A cinematic ordering appointment to view your images and purchase your finished fairy artwork.
Portrait Products are purchased separately and start at $250.
How do I book a Winter Fairy Portrait Session?
  • Click the green button and fill out the form. Once you fill out the form, and pay for your session, we will call you (be sure to answer your phone for this call!) and answer all your questions about what to expect and we will schedule your portrait session.
  • Pay for your session on the next page.  If you're ready to commit to a beautiful Storybook session for your child, you'll reserve your spot by paying for the session.  The session fee is a $50 donation per child and will be forwarded to a children's charity organization.
  • What do I expect after I book? We have dates coming up in February and March to choose from for your child's session. The Saturday mornings are prime time and are reserved quickly. Once we schedule your session, plan on having a fun-filled time in our studio, escaping the day to day routine!
  • ​What if I have multiple children? Great, what a fun experience for them to share! Each child is a $50 donation.
  • ​I have a baby, can we include the baby? Babies are welcome in the scene as long as they can sit up securely on their own.  If they are still in the "tipping phase" please wait for them to achieve the strength to sit up safely on their own.
  • ​How do we see our images? We will schedule a cinematic ordering appointment for you to view and order your finished fairy artwork, typically the following week.
  • ​How much should I plan to invest? Everyone is different! How much you ultimately choose to invest is entirely up to you. Many people fall in love with our custom designed and personalized storybook albums and wall art. We typically see investments starting at $1500 because people love so many of their portraits. We are happy to call you and explain all of our products available to you! If you ultimately decide we are not a good fit for you, we are happy to refund your session fee.

Step 1: Reserve Your Session
The first thing you need to do is click one of the green buttons and fill out your info. This will take you to the checkout page to reserve your Winter Fairy Session.  Your session fee is a donation of $50 per child that will be forwarded to a children's charity organization.  The session fee is required to reserve your Winter Fairy Portrait Experience. 
Step 2: We'll Call You
Once you've submitted your info and paid for your donation, we'll call you within 24 business hours to answer your questions and set up a date and time for your session.

Step 3: Enjoy The Experience
Once your session date and time are confirmed, get ready to enjoy your Winter Fairy Portrait Experience at Strauss Peyton! 

It's a magical time that both parents and children adore!

About Your Photographers

Meet Kaela & Jonathan Braswell.  Second generation owners of the oldest portrait studio still in operation in the United States, they love photographing families and children.

The fairy idea? Totally Jonathan's idea but he's not crazy about glitter. 😂 Kaela's in charge of creating the magical scene and doesn't mind glitter and Jonathan's going to catch all of those sweet moments you're going to want to remember forever!
